Glossary
A mid-size motorhome built on a truck chassis with a distinctive over-cab sleeping loft, typically 21-32 feet long.
Class C motorhomes are mid-size motorized RVs built on a truck chassis (typically Ford E-450 or Mercedes Sprinter cutaway) with a distinctive over-cab sleeping loft. Length 21-32 feet. The over-cab bunk distinguishes Class C from Class A (which has a flat front like a bus) and Class B (which is van-shaped). Sub-classes: Class C Standard (21-28 ft, F-450 chassis) is the mainstream rental fleet vehicle; Super-C (28-35 ft, F-550/F-650 chassis) is heavy-duty for full-time living. Storage requirements match standard RV pads with 25-32 ft length; Super-C may need oversized pads for height clearance over the cab.
Class C storage: outdoor $80-$160/mo, covered $130-$280, indoor $200-$420.
