Class B Motorhome

A van-based motorhome (camper van) typically 18-24 feet long, built on a Mercedes Sprinter, Ford Transit, or Ram Promaster chassis.

Full definition

Class B motorhomes (camper vans) are the smallest motorized RV class, built on full-size van chassis. Length runs 18-24 feet. Common chassis: Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Ford Transit, Ram Promaster. Class B is the fastest-growing RV segment in the US, driven by digital nomads, retirees who want easy maneuverability, and #vanlife social-media culture. Storage-friendly: Class B fits in a standard 25-foot bay or a normal residential garage. Most owners don't need storage at all - the van doubles as their daily driver. But owners who only travel seasonally do seek out covered storage to preserve solar panels, roof seals, and exterior wraps from UV damage.

Pricing note

Class B storage: outdoor $50-$120/mo, covered $80-$200, indoor $150-$300.
