But storing an $80,000 boat is nothing like storing a box of old clothes. Vehicle owners need to know about size clearance, security features, electrical hookups, dump stations, seasonal availability, insurance requirements, and whether they can access their rig at 5am on a Saturday.
None of that exists on SpareFoot, Neighbor, or any other platform. So we built StowHelp.

StowHelp was founded by WETYR Corporation in 2024 after watching the same problem play out repeatedly: a boat owner buys a 28-foot center console, the local marina is full, the SpareFoot results show 10x10 climate-controlled units that cannot physically fit a boat, and the only way to find real boat storage is to drive around looking for "boat storage" signs on chain-link fences. RV owners face the same frustration. Classic-car collectors face it. Snowmobile, jet ski, trailer, ATV owners face it. None of the existing storage directories were built for vehicles - they were built for boxes and tacked vehicles on as an afterthought filter.
We built StowHelp from the vehicle owner's perspective first. Search by your boat length, your RV class, your motorcycle's wintering needs - not by 5x5 / 10x10 / 10x20 storage unit sizes. Filter by what actually matters: dry stack vs wet slip, climate-controlled humidity range, hurricane wind rating, electrical hookup amperage, dump station access. The directory grew from 200 facilities at launch to over 8,700 today, with 344,000 city-category pages indexed across all 50 US states plus DC and Puerto Rico.
StowHelp covers every US state with category-specific pages for the 11 vehicle storage types we track. Major markets are particularly deep: Florida boat storage spans 8 coastal regions plus inland lakes; Arizona RV storage covers the entire Sun Belt snowbird corridor (Phoenix, Mesa, Tucson, Yuma, Lake Havasu); California classic-car storage indexes the Los Angeles vault market, the Bay Area's classic Italian collection scene, and San Diego's Mission Bay marina market. Cold-state markets like Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Maine specialize in heated indoor storage and snowmobile summer storage. Every state has a dedicated state hub at /[category]/[state] showing every city we cover.
For owners in remote areas, we use a Haversine distance algorithm on each city page to surface nearby cities within 25 miles when local capacity is full. This means a Custer, Montana RV owner finds storage options in Billings, Bozeman, and Hardin even when Custer itself has no listed facilities. Our 31,000+ city pages collectively reduce the "no storage near me" problem to something solvable for the vast majority of US owners.
In 2026 we expanded into vehicle acquisitions through WETYR Corporation's We Buy Cars program. We actively buy luxury, exotic, and collector-grade automobiles - Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, McLaren, Aston Martin, Maserati, Mercedes-AMG, BMW M, Audi RS, Ford GT, Corvette Z06 and ZR1, Acura NSX, Nissan GT-R, Tesla Plaid, Shelby, and select high-performance luxury SUVs. The program operates as a fee-based service in compliance with Florida Statute 320.27 - we are not a licensed motor vehicle dealer; we are a fee-based acquisition service that connects verified buyers with sellers and handles the full transaction (valuation, offer, inspection, transport, funding).
Storage facility owners who refer vehicle leads to our acquisitions desk earn a competitive finders fee on every closed deal. Fees are confirmed per-deal based on the vehicle, introduction quality, and complexity, paid within 7 business days of closing via check, ACH, or Zelle. StowHelp is free for vehicle owners. We do not charge searchers, we do not collect commissions on bookings, and we do not sell consumer data. Our revenue comes from facility owners who upgrade from the free listing tier to one of three paid plans: Premium ($29/mo) adds photos, phone-click tracking, and lead notification SMS; Elite ($79/mo) adds verified badge, lead priority routing, and analytics; City Sponsor ($149/mo) adds exclusive city visibility and review-response controls. Free-tier facilities make up roughly 60% of our directory and stay free indefinitely. The paid tiers exist so facilities that take their listings seriously can stand out.
Affiliate partnerships are clearly labeled. When a vehicle owner needs an adjacent service (winterization, transport, insurance), we display widgets from vetted partners with disclosure. Affiliate revenue funds the platform; it does not influence search ranking. Facility ranking is based solely on plan tier, distance match, and review quality - not on whether the facility advertises with us elsewhere.
Vehicle owner contact information goes directly to the facility you contact, not to a call center, not to a lead-aggregator network, and not to a downstream advertiser. We do not sell consumer data. Facility lead routing is one-to-one: when you submit an inquiry on Boat Storage in Miami, that inquiry routes only to the facility you selected, plus our internal lead-routing telemetry for service-quality measurement.
